Woods as far as the eye can see, grasslands, clear streams, waterfalls and mountains-this is the National Park of the Casentino Forests, Mount Falterona and Campigna, straddling the Apennine ridge that separates Tuscany from Romagna. In this environment, one of the last unspoiled areas in Europe, an exceptional flora and fauna lives and thrives, rich in species elsewhere now rare or disappeared.
